Adaptive music or non-linear music is based on a system (usually a videogame) that interacts with the music modulating it for the purpose of the experience.

Music needs to be composed in a way that it can last more of its duration (looping) and each intensity level brings into the music enough difference (but subtle) to give the user a message.

I programmed a little interactive application based on 2 different genres of video, the user chooses one, the music starts, and then the user can choose in real-time which level of intensity hear and also when closing the music with the outro.

In this way, each person will have his own unique experience based on the choice made.
